As I was typing the date above, I accidentally typed the year 2001. Some things just don't fade from memory easily. In this case it's a good thing, because the western world never felt so united than at that time. Of course things have changed since but that's a topic for a different blog...
New pics up for King's Island and our newest puppy, Sydney. Sydney's going to be a permanent resident around here because I've adopted her. She's an Aussie/German Shepherd mix and is as sweet as a dog can be. The first day we brought her home all the neighborhood kids came to meet her and give her awkward, clumsy kid hugs. She loved it. Good thing or she wouldn't have lasted very long. As it is, she's on her way to being my favorite.
There's also pics up for the Vinoklet Arts and Wine Festival we went to Saturday. A vineyard in Ohio? It's within spitting distance of Mount Rumpke too. I guess it's what gives their wine a special something because we got a bottle of a nice red wine called Cincinnatus. We haven't grown extra heads yet!
