What year?
So yes it's been a while.. if you define a while in fortnights. Anyway a lot has gone on since I last updated. We have a big surprise in store for Helena when she turns 5 in April. More on that soon... We have the new puppy which I hope you saw pictures of on the side bar. And I now own the hudsonhitch.com domain, courtesy of GoDaddy and about 8 bucks. Not bad.
I'm still on the fence about hosting the site here or using the free offsite hosting they provide. I like being able to update things right away without adding an extra step to upload to a server somewhere. Right now I'm using their hosting because it's faster, but we'll see.
Lately both Amy and I have been listening to This Week in Tech's podcasts. It's a lot of the old TechTV crew like Leo Laporte, John C. Dvorak, and others. It's good stuff if you want to know whats going on in the tech world.
But the main reason I mention that is because Amy is quickly becoming a power user and it's starting to scare me. Imagine you're a backyard mechanic and your wife suddenly starts asking questions about displacement... Yea I had to look that up for an analogy.
