Amy and I saw War of the Worlds this weekend. I don't think I've been that tense since the last time I fought off an alien invasion with my bare hands and a tire iron... which was like last week. As a Dad I felt like Tom Cruise's character did a noble job trying to keep his kids safe physically and mentally. And yea the special effects are nice too. It's a good summer flick with some heavy emotional elements. Don't take the little ones.

In other news I'm fairly sure no one ever reads this page. So rest assured I am sleeping when I write this and dreaming about being back in college before thousands of dollars of student loans come due and I could eat three meals of Subway meatball subs a day without gaining weight.

It could be that I used to run and park cars for 8 hours a day and now I sit in a chair...
