Hooray! We got another offer on our house yesterday! Let's hope this one doesn't fall through. If there's anything I don't want to go through again, it's selling a house.

Update

They originally offered $2500 lower than our asking price, on top of wanting us to pay their ridculously high closing costs. We would have eaten $8k in profit on that deal. After one counter offer we are staying firm on a bit over asking price and we'll pay closing and install the central air we planned. We don't have much faith they'll go for it considering their first two offers.

Why do people try to buy a house lower than asking and expect the seller to pay all the closing costs despite what their realtor tells them? GRRRRR.
