MidFirst Balloon Glow

Helena and I went up to Middletown (urgh) with my parents, my sister and her kids to see the balloon glow last Friday. It was a beautiful night and perfect weather to watch the balloons light up the park. The kids rode some rides and there was even a small concert given by my old neighbor Dangerous Jim.

Now I haven't been up to Middletown in years and being back there reminded me I'm not missing much. I saw enough cut-off shorts and feathered hair to last me a good few more years. I lost count of how many guys the must get their fashion tips from watching Larry the Cable Guy. And I hate sounding preachy, but can some of you hold off that urge to smoke that cig until you're not holding your toddler in your arms? I know Britney's rich and famous, but psst... she's not a good role model.
